Marker Hill Construction was founded in 2020 by 2 veterans of residential and commercial building project management, Rob Cyman, President, and Erik Byrum, Senior Project Manager.

Rob Cyman has worked on projects ranging from luxury single-family dwellings, oversite of construction for a major destination resort, multiple hotel renovations, new builds on single-family homes, townhouses, and condominium builds, as well as the renovation of a historic commercial urban high-rise in Metropolitan Denver.

Erik Byrum was the senior project manager for two of Colorado’s largest Front Range home builders for 8 years prior to moving to Grand County for family and lifestyle considerations. During his tenure, he has overseen 100s of projects and thousands of new home builds.

In 2022, Jim Kanter joined the Team. Jim brought 22 years of construction experience, including multi-family, commercial, educational, infrastructure, and health care construction. Throughout his career, he has always taken a client-focused and collaborative approach to completing projects of any scale. 

Although MHC is relatively new to the valley, its experienced team and reputation for high-quality commercial and residential construction delivered on a scheduled timeline have made it a highly sought-after resource for high-end, residential home builds and commercial real estate projects alike in Grand County.
